Questions leaders and L&D teams ask

How the practices work, who reviews them, what stays private, and how to start.

About Temprd

What is Temprd Leadership Development?

Short practices on the decisions already on your desk, each reviewed by a certified coach. It works on how you think, not only on what you know, so that over the months you become more able to make the hard calls. See how it works.

Who is it for?

Leaders who want to grow on their real work (For leaders), and L&D teams who want leadership development that fits a working week and shows progress (For L&D teams). Company L&D budgets are the usual route, and individual leaders are welcome to join directly.

What does “Temprd” mean?

It comes from tempered steel, which is heated and cooled until it bends under pressure and comes back true. So do the best leaders. Each two-week practice is one cycle: the work is the heat, and reflection with your coach is the cooling. Read more on the About page.

How is it different from a course or a workshop?

There are no days out of the business. You practise on the decisions already on your desk, 15 to 30 minutes at a time, and a coach reviews every practice. It builds over months instead of ending after a day.

How it works

What happens when I sign up?

You complete an intake form. Your programme is drafted from it, and a certified coach reviews the programme and your first practice before anything reaches you. The full process is on How it works.

How much time does it take?

Typically 15 to 30 minutes, three or four times a week, fitted to your time. A practice runs for two weeks, lighter in the first week and deeper in the second.

What happens at the end of a practice?

You fill in a short form, and you are assessed against your coaching objectives. You then extend the practice or receive a new one, which a coach reviews first.

Can I go at my own pace?

Yes. You set your own pace, you can extend a practice, and you can always dial a practice back.

Can I talk to a coach?

Yes. At any point you can book a one-to-one call or join a team call with a coach. Calls a coach asks for out of concern are free.

How long does a programme run?

Programmes run for 6, 9 or 12 months, or month by month.

Coaches and AI

Who are the coaches?

Every reviewing coach is certified by Integral Coaching Canada, and our coaches are supervised. Meet the coach behind it.

What does the AI do, and what does it not do?

The AI drafts programmes and practices, and acts as a reflective companion between reviews. The coach decides: no programme or practice reaches you without a coach’s review, and the AI never changes your programme or gives you a new practice.

What if I am struggling?

A coach reads every end-of-practice form and watches for leaders who are struggling. If anything in a chat suggests distress, a coach is alerted at once and offers a free concern call.

Privacy and your employer

What does my employer see?

Your coaching objectives, linked to company objectives, your progress on each, and a final report at the end of the programme. Never your intake form, practices, reflections, chats or survey answers. More for L&D teams.

Who reads what I write?

Your coach reads your end-of-practice forms, and an AI reads your intake form. Before you start, we tell you in writing what your employer can and cannot see.

How is my information handled?

We decide how your details are used and are responsible for them under the GDPR. The webinar privacy notice and the enquiry privacy notice set out the detail.

Working with us

How do we start as an L&D team?

We suggest a founding group of two or three leaders. We agree each leader’s coaching objectives with you, linked to your company objectives, and each leader begins with a private questionnaire. You then see progress on each objective as it moves. See the L&D page or book a 20-minute conversation.

How much does it cost?

We tailor the programme to your leaders and the length you choose, so we give you a proposal. Ask by email at info@temprdleadership.com or by phone on +353 (0) 87 184 8675, or book a 20-minute conversation.

What results can I expect?

Every practice ends with an assessment against your objectives, and L&D teams see progress on each objective. We claim nothing we have not measured, so we do not promise outcomes. Leaders tell us what felt difficult starts to feel steadier.

Is there a webinar?

Yes, we run a free monthly webinar. See the webinar page for the next date and to save your place.
